"Business-to-Business e-commerce is making a strong comeback in 2004. In the U.S., according to IDC, B2B ecommerce spending will increase an estimated 50% to $870 billion in 2004 and it should continue at a 50% growth rate through 2007. The real proof however, is evident when you follow the money. Web company IPO's are back in investors good graces again. At the forefront was online advertising giant, Google (nasdaq:GOOG), which raised $1.67 billion and has appreciated more than 50% since its offering. Another strong sign, Sand Hill Road is buzzing and VCs expect to raise $20 billion in the second half of 2004. "
