Book Meetings the Tech-Friendly Way
Summarized by Molly Luxem, Marketing Assistant
In the business world, meetings and appointments are usually made by email or over the phone.
Wouldn’t it be great if you could do this using a website or an app? Well, soon you can!
Office 365 customers can now create their own online-reservation websites.
Microsoft Bookings supplies businesses with an exclusive website offering as an interactive calendar that companies can use as an online booking service for their own customers.
The new service is meant to enable Office customers to set up their own online reservation websites comparable to popular services like online restaurant booking company, OpenTable.
Office 365 Business Premium customers who signed up for an early access program can now use Bookings, and Microsoft said the service would be available to all Business Premium customers in the next few months.
Microsoft will make each Bookings website publicly available on the Internet. But, in the next few weeks, Microsoft also plans to release an app that only Office customers can use to manage their Bookings pages and related meetings and schedules from their smartphones or tablets.
Talk about convenient services!
