i3 Business Solutions is a West Michigan technology services firm delivering business results and a roadmap to the cloud for local organizations. We improve business results by delivering technology products and services to primarily West Michigan organizations.
i3 is looking for an outgoing individual who's very comfortable dialing the phone and prospecting for new accounts. The growth of i3 and hitting our business plan is dependent on this position. This position is for primarily inside new customer sales, so a driven, outgoing, ‘hunter’ personality is a must. The position involves building relationships on the phone and eventually in person with visits to prospects' locations.
The proper candidate must be comfortable talking on the phone in an unstructured manner, as well as have experience discussing business and technology with business and technology professionals.
This position pays $15 hourly with performance incentives which may drive the average to $20 / hour. The job is part-time to start and may grow into a full-time position depending on individual performance. Again, this position pays hourly,therefore, your comfort with performance oriented incentive-based compensation is very important.
The successful candidate will be personable, conversational, fun and gregarious. Knowledge or experience of technology and business to business sales are beneficial. A bachelor of science or arts degree in business with a minor in computer science or I.T. is beneficial, while not an absolute requirement. Certainly, demonstrable sales experience and references are expected.
The successful candidate will have a preference for commission based pay based on personal performance as demonstrated by both life experience and work history. The unsuccessful candidate will tire of dialing the phone, tire of losing sales to find the win, and regret ever starting at this position as they find any excuse not to dial the phone and pursue the next opportunity.
