Setup Email on your PC (Greenridge)
General Instructions for setting up email on your PC
Start the email program on your device and choose the
option to add an account.
- Email address: This is your full email address (for example, email@example.com).
- User name: Your user name is your full email address (for example, firstname.lastname@example.org).
- Password: This is the password for your email account.
- In coming mail server settings: These are your incoming IMAP4 server settings.
- Server name:outlook.office365.com
- Encryption methodSSL
- Outgoing mail server settings: This is your SMTP
- Server name:smtp.office365.com
- Encryption method:TLS
- Authentication settings: If the program allows you to
set up advanced settings use the following settings.
- Select the outgoing server requires authentication
- Select the setting that lets you use the same user name
and password for sending email option.
- Don't select the setting for Secure Password
