What are the prerequisites for Running Office 365 and Office 2016

Office 365:
Office 365 is designed to work with the latest browsers and versions of Office. If you use older browser versions that are not in mainstream support then the following issues may exist:

Microsoft won’t deliberately prevent you from connecting to the service, but the quality of your Office 365 experience will diminish over time.
Microsoft won’t provide code fixes to resolve non-security related problems.

Solution: Make sure your browser version is up to date. Recommend using Internet explorer/Edge, Firefox, Safari or Google Chrome.

Office 2016:
The required specifications of hardware needed to run the Office 2016 are listed below.

1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster x86-bit or x64-bit processor

Memory
2 GB RAM

Hard disk
3.0 GB available disk space

Screen Resolution
1024 x 768
1024 by 768

Graphics hardware acceleration requires a DirectX 10 graphics card.

Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, or Windows Server 2008 R2
For the best experience, use the latest version of any operating system.

.NET 3.5 required. Some features may require .NET 4.0, 4.5, or 4.6 CLR to also be installed.

A touch-enabled device is required to use any multi-touch functionality. But, all features and functionality are always available by using a keyboard, mouse, or other standard or accessible input device. Note that touch features are optimized for use with Windows 8, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10.

Certain advanced functionality may require connectivity to:
Microsoft Exchange Server 2016, Exchange Server 2013, Exchange Server 2010, or Exchange Online. Outlook 2016 does not support connections to Exchange Server 2007.
